Practice Fee (Praxisgebühr) for members of German Legal Health Insurance (Gesetzliche Krankenkasse)
At the first visit per quarter of the year members of the german legal health insurance have to pay € 10,-- Practice Fee. (Praxisgebühr). This is regardless of visiting a general practitioner or a specialist. For all following visits within the quarter we can issue a referral for other doctors, so that you do not have to pay further practice fees within the quarter. Your german legal health insurance will inform you about any exceptions of this rule. The practice fee (Praxisgebühr) is not an additional income of the physicians. It will be settled by the remuneration of the legal health insurances paid to our practice.
Chip Card (Chip-Karte) for members of German Legal Health Insurance (Gesetzliche Krankenkasse)
Please bring your chip card or a referral of any other physician for your first visit in each quarter of the year. We kindly ask you for your understanding, that we are legally not allowed to issue a prescription wihout any proof or certificate of german legal health insurance. In case of a missing certificate (chip card or referral) we have to issue a private prescription first, even if you are well known in our practice.
After presentation of your chip card we can issue a normal pescription for the german legal health insurance. You will receive your money from the pharmacy after presenting both prescriptions.
